Shoppers should keep their wits about them as they step into selected Dr. Martens stores this Halloween Half Term

This October Half Term the “Home of Halloween” the London Dungeon will join forces with Dr. Martens to add a kick of Halloween scariness to seven stores across the UK and Europe – with two in London.

The thrilling takeover will be in celebration of Dr. Martens AW16 alternative designs – the Skelly Boot – a spine-chilling and ‘glow-in-the-dark’ boot for children and adults and the gothic inspired, 32-Eye Daria boot. Both boots are new for 2016 and the perfect way to step-in to the Halloween spirit!

Between the 24 – 30th October brave hearted shoppers will come face-to-face with a special character created especially for Dr. Martens by the Dungeons team entitled ‘The Shoe Shiner’.

As guests step over the threshold of Dr. Martens stores they will be greeted by the gleefully grim Shoe Shiner, who will demonstrate the dark arts behind the ultimate polished boot – although guests may not want to look too closely at the gruesome implements he uses to get that ultimate shine…having come straight from his home at the London Dungeon.

As well as the shiner, stores will have a whole range of surprises including a special ‘yucky dip’ – where guests can dig deep and win a range of Dr. Martens or Dungeons goodies.

Those who enjoy their shoe shine with a twist, might be inspired to immerse themselves in the full Dungeon experience at the London Dungeon where 1,000 years of London’s dark history in 19 shows, featuring some of history’s greatest rogues and villains, two thrilling rides and plenty of edge-of-the-seat surprises.

The London store pop-ups will take place in two Dr. Marten’s stores: Carnaby St. 24th, Oct and Westfield Stratford – 25th Oct. (10am – 6pm).

The Witch Hunter at The Dungeons
1st October – 31st October

This October the London Dungeon will pit those of you brave enough to join the witch hunt with the seventeenth century Matthew Hopkins, known as the Witchfinder General.

Hopkins and his associates were responsible for more hangings than in the previous 100 years, with Hopkins believed to have been responsible for the deaths of over 100 men and women, all suspected of witchcraft.

You’ll be lured into Hopkins’ Witchfinder’s den, where you’ll find yourself part of his latest witch hunt investigation and he’s determined to locate his next witch! But will Hopkins sniff out the right victim? One thing that is for certain, he will stop at nothing until he gets his confession!

Will you survive the hunt?
